Nobody’s Calling

Look at the time. My how it flies away too soon.

a useless cliche that’s almost passe enough for use.

Let bygones be gone. Tried to leave it alone but still unamused.

Choosing not to inspire you traded desire for indifferent views.

Nobody’s calling you name.

No one is crying, what a shame.

Are those tears shed in vain?

Nobody’s calling your name.

It’s all quite surreal. An urge overkill having no fun.

Staring hard at the gates new pastures await the dreamless ones.

It’s hard to recall if you cared at all now that it’s done.

Running out on the chance and a childhood romance before minute one.

Nobody’s calling you name.

No one is crying, what a shame.

Are those tears shed in vain?

Nobody’s calling your name.

You took your mind off everything

You put your dreams off on anything.

Nobody’s calling you name.

No one is crying, what a shame.

Are those tears shed in vain?

Nobody’s calling your name.

It’s all over now. Reflecting on how some things never change.

You were given the chance, and given the chace, and given the chance.

Now nobody’s calling your name.

Nobody’s calling your name.

Nobody’s calling your name.

Nobody’s calling your name.
